Colleagues and Residents celebrated Easter with a tea party at HC-One’s
Pennwood Lodge care home, in Kingswood, which offers residential, nursing and dementia care.
The Alice in Wonderland themed tea party was set up in the home’s dining room with beautiful Bone China. Residents enjoyed some lovely cupcakes, Easter biscuits, finger sandwiches and other snacks, all prepared by the home’s hospitality team.
The room was decorated with lots of themed paintings and props, and music from the iconic film was also played for everyone to enjoy.
Shelia, who is a Resident at the home, commented, “It is nice to get together and celebrate.”
Julie Hill, Wellbeing Coordinator, also organised for an Easter bonnet making competition, which as judged by Home Administrator, Michelle. The winner was announced as Ruth Lester who won an Easter egg, and she was very pleased.
Michelle said, “It was lovely to see all the lovely bonnets and it was a hard job to choose between them!”
