Colleagues at Overdene House care home, in Cheshire, thought that Residents at deserve a party and the best Christmas ever. So, they put their heads together (metaphorically of course) and came up with something rather remarkable.
They came up with dedicating a wall on each floor to have a Christmas theme painted on it. Residents and Colleagues all adding their own artistic and creative side to it.
The main artist was Nursing Assistant, Nicola Gerrard, who seemed to be a natural.
Residents had some wonderful comments when admiring the wall such as, “How nice and great fun.” Another said, “Just having fun and actually doing something towards Christmas. I love it!”
Catherine Burns, Home Manager, commented, “We had great fun doing these, and made such a mess (all clean now though). Amazing time thanks to all my staff, I am so proud of them!”
