An afternoon of tattoos for Grosvenor Park ResidentsIn celebration of National Tattoo Day held on 17th July, Grosvenor Park care home not only learned some fun facts about tattoos, but they also got some ink body art!

The day started off with some interesting facts about the history of tattoos and some posers of historic and modern tattoos and the meanings of them.

Colleagues then all gave Residents some temporary tattoos which they absolutely loved. They all picked their own tattoos and were impressed with how realistic they looked.

One Colleague said, “We all had such a brilliant afternoon and the Residents loved showing off their new artwork”.

“Oh i always wanted tattoos.” One Resident remarked, “They look so pretty and realistic I dont want them to come off.”

Grosvenor Park’s Home Manager, Jackie O'Callaghan, said “It was so good to see the Residents showing off their new tattoos to everyone.”
