At HC-One’s
Cold Springs Park in Penrith, which offers residential, residential dementia, older people and palliative care, the Residents and staff at both communities had a lovely afternoon trying lots of different ice cream and toppings.
Whilst the ice cream trolley did its rounds and visiting those Residents who were even in their rooms, the day sparked up a lot of conversations about their seaside holidays and were reminiscing about days out with the children.
The Residents commented on what a wonderful afternoon they had and enjoyed the different types of topping that were on offer!
Care Home Manager Jacqueline Johnstone said “It was a lovely afternoon listening to the Residents chatting about their love of the seaside.”
