Residents at Wigan’s
Rosebridge Court care home had a fun-filled day out on the home’s minibus adventuring around Haigh Country Park.
Located just four miles away from the home, the group were able to fit in plenty in their day out, including a stroll around the crazy golf, viewing the ornamental fishpond, and having a wander across the cobbled courtyard. They even stopped off at the cafe to buy some delicious refreshments and have a browse at what was on offer in the shop.
Residents from the 46-bed nursing dementia care home, then continued with a tour around the walled gardens, looking at the array of flowers and shrubs and taking in the fabulous views around them.
One of the Residents on the trip said, “What a wonderful time. This is fantastic.”
Another Resident, while referring to the grounds and greenery, said, “Wow look at that! Thats amazing.”
Sarah Cunliffe, Home Administrator, said, “It was a good feeling to be out in the sunshine, fresh air and open space. A fantastic day was had by all.”
