Amerind Grove Residents feel the magic of Christmas at Whitehall Garden CentreResidents at Amerind Grove care home in Bristol enjoyed a magical trip to their local garden centre to see the delights of Santa’s Grotto.

During their festive day trip to Whitehall Garden Centre, Residents got the opportunity to check out the Christmas display and to stock up on last minute gifts for their loved ones. They also got the chance to meet the reindeer on their way to Santa’s Grotto.

Many of the green-fingered Residents took joy in seeing all the Christmas plants and flower displays at the Garden Centre.

Once everyone had taken in the sights, they headed towards the café for tea and cake, where they had a chat about what everyone enjoyed most about the day.

One Resident commented: “It was a lovely day out and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the beautiful Christmas displays.”

Wayne Price, Home Manager at Amerind Grove, said: “Our Residents thoroughly enjoyed meeting the beautiful reindeer and visiting Santa’s Grotto. Our trips really help put a smile on everyone’s faces, so we are looking forward to a host of activities planned for the rest of the year.”

Carol Dight, Area Director, said: “It’s lovely to hear how much fun our Residents have when they go out on these trips. This one was no different, with everyone getting into the Christmas spirit.”
