Amerind Grove Residents enjoy trip to Clevedon PierA group of excited Residents and Colleagues from Amerind Grove care home in Bristol took advantage of the early spring weather to take a trip to the famous Clevedon Pier.

Clevedon is a beautiful spot all year round for taking in a stroll along the promenade, overlooking the beach and enjoying the resort’s delicious fish and chips.

Residents really enjoyed discovering some interesting facts about the resort, as well as eating an ice cream while strolling along the sea front.

The Residents reminisced about their own seaside experiences from when they were younger and are already looking forward to a return trip over the summer months.

One Resident commented: “It was lovely to sit and relax in the sunshine on the seafront.”

Wayne Price, Home Manager, said: “The Residents really enjoy visiting the seaside, as it brings back many memories from their childhoods. Our trip to Clevedon was a nice way to bid farewell to the winter weather and welcome the spring.”
