HC-One’s Thamesfield care home in Henley-on-Thames enjoyed a highly anticipated visit from some special four-legged friends on Wednesday 20th March.
Alpacas Enzo and Scally, from Wyld Court Farm near Reading came to Thamesfield to spend time with Residents, Relatives and members of the care team.
Enzo and Scally are half-brothers and both equally loved all of the attention they received as they arrived, people took turns stroking the alpacas and asking their handler questions about their behaviour, diet and habitat.
Everyone loved meeting Enzo and Scally, who even visited some Residents in their rooms. Mrs Hurley, a 100-year-old Resident was overjoyed when they came to her room and even asked to feed them both.
