HC-One’s Avon Court care home in Chippenham welcomed some very special visitors.
Alpacas came to Avon Court to spend some quality time with the Residents. One Resident, Joyce Dunbabin had never seen an Alpaca before and was overjoyed to meet them.
The Alpacas visited communal areas around the home and even called in to say hello to Residents in their bedrooms. It was a lovely experience for everyone with one Resident, Ada Fletcher commenting on how she would like to have two of her own.
Visitors from Chippenham Rotary Club also visited the home, they thought it was a lovely activity and included an article about the Alpacas visit in their monthly newsletter.
