Alpaca visit delights Residents at St Andrews care homeResidents at HC-One’s Balnacarron care home in St Andrews welcomed Bambi, an Alpaca from Clairville Farm in Windygates and children from Rainbow Nursery on Wednesday 26th February.

Therapy alpaca Bambi visited Residents at Balnacarron who were also joined by children from a local nursery, everyone enjoyed giving Bambi lots of attention and cuddles and Bambi even paid a visit to Residents in the bedrooms.

Residents and the children were given the opportunity to feed Bambi and asked lots of questions about his behaviour, diet and natural habitat. One Resident commented: “Bambi was so well behaved and his coat was so soft and fluffy.”

Gemma Gordon, Balnacarron Home Manager said: “Thank you to Clairville Farm in Windygates for bringing Bambi to our home and to the lovely children from Rainbow Nursery who always put a smile on our Resident’s faces.”
