Residents from Roseberry Court Care Home in Redcar, Cleveland all jumped aboard a mystery bus trip to Whitby last week.
The weather was beautiful and warm as they set off to their mystery destination, firstly making a pit stop at Victoria Garden Centre where Residents enjoyed looking at the different types of flowers and plants that were on sale.
A visit to the gift shop afterwards saw everyone buying little gifts to take back for their friends and family.
After a light lunch at the centres café, everyone got back on the bus where they were taken to Whitby Abbey for a lovely walk around in the fresh sea air.
The icing on the cake was the last stop to everyone’s favourite ice cream shop in Redcar, for a famous lemon top, which Residents enjoyed eating together on the sea front, before setting off back home.
Jean Boyed, Resident at Roseberry Court commented with a giggle:
