Residents from HC-One’s Himley Mill care home in Dudley ventured back in time on a 16-mile journey along the beautiful Severn Valley on a heritage steam train.
The group headed to Severn Valley Railway where they boarded a beautiful steam train in Kidderminster for the start of the sixteen-mile journey finishing at Bridgnorth. Residents had a morning coffee with a slice of cake as they enjoyed the scenic views of the River Severn and Midlands Safari Park.
Everyone reminiscence about their favourite memories of travelling on trains, followed by a delicious lunch and a relaxing journey back.
Residents commented that it was a lovely day out and they would like to visit the Severn Valley Railway again very soon.
