Residents at Acacia care home in Nottingham were delighted to set sail down the River Trent as they embarked on a lovely summer cruise.
Once on-board The Crusader cruise boat, Residents were treated to a delicious afternoon tea, consisting of cream cakes, biscuits and a pot of tea or coffee.
Everyone enjoyed admiring the countryside views on the banks of the Trent as they flowed down the river, watching horses frolicking in the fields and farmers harvesting their crops.
One Resident commented: “It was lovely to see so much of our nearby countryside and to top it off the afternoon tea was delightful.”
