Residents from HC-One’s Darnley Court care home in Glasgow enjoyed an afternoon sailing along the Kirkintilloch canal on the Seagull Trust barge trip.
The group boarded the barge and shared a delicious fish and chip lunch before heading to the deck to admire the wonderful scenery. Residents commented on how lovely it was to watch all of the different wildlife as they sailed down the tranquil canal.
Everyone soaked in the sunshine during the barge trip, Residents said that the canal is such a peaceful place to be and they are looking forward to their next trip out already.
