With money raised in from the Residents fund, Residents and Care Colleagues from Alexander Court headed to the local wildlife park. One of the Residents had been wishing to go to the zoo and see the animals and so three residents and the Care Team headed off on their safari adventure!
The kitchen packed up a wonderful picnic for everyone to enjoy and everyone enjoyed the day out in the sun.
Residents were able to get up close to wallabies, baboons, lions, giraffes, Meer cats and zebras but everyone’s highlight were the polar bears playing in the water. It was a lovely experience for all of the Residents.
Residents said that they “thoroughly enjoyed the day” and would love to visit again!
