Residents at HC-One’s Elstree Court care home recently enjoyed an afternoon tea together, as they plan to make it a regular occurrence within the home.
The home’s chef prepares some delicious cakes, donuts and sandwiches for all to enjoy, alongside a warm or cold, refreshing drink.
Residents enjoyed socialising with each other and their Relatives, whilst they spent the afternoon chatting happily. One Resident particularly commented on how nice it was to enjoy a quiet afternoon just having tea.
Yolanda De Castro, Home Manager, commented: “Residents have thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon tea, and we look forward to regularly holding an afternoon tea weekly.”
