Afternoon Tea and dancing at Broadoak Manor
Residents from HC-One’s Broadoak Manor in St Helens enjoyed a trip out to their local town hall to attend the Afternoon Tea Dance.

Residents Pat, Norman, Joan and Jo, enjoyed meeting many people when they reached the Town Hall where the dance was held. There were other homes were in attendance and they enjoyed socialising and chatting.

A Ballroom Dance DJ provided the entertainment whilst everyone enjoyed an Afternoon Tea, with many dancing and singing along.

The Residents enjoyed dancing, especially when everyone joined hands to dance together.

Everyone had a fantastic day out.

Resident Joan commented:

“I really enjoyed myself, it reminded me of times when I would go out to events as a young girl.”

Resident Jo remembered his days as a professional dancer and was naming all the dances.

Resident Pat remincised about a Wednesday night were she would go to her church to attend dances with her friends.

Natalie Heaton, Receptionist commented:

"I had a lovely afternoon and I am very much looking forward to our next dance. It is nice to come from behind my desk to give our Residents such a great afternoon. I enjoyed getting to know the Residents on a more personal level."
