Afternoon Tea a big hit with Silverwood Residents
Caring Colleagues at HC-One’s Silverwood Care Home have decided to make an occasion of an afternoon tea every Friday.

This week was the first and it was a roaring success.

Residents were served finger sandwiches, cakes and pots of tea with soft music in the background.

Tea was served in little tea pots which made for easy pouring by Residents and they enjoyed serving themselves.

This is another kind care initiative adopted in the home to make each Friday an occasion for Residents to look forward to.

Carrie Davies, Home Manager, remarked:

“It is such a privilege to put on events such as this for my wonderful residents. It is so important promote living well with dementia and enjoying life to the full and events like this help us give the kindest care we can offer!”
