At
Beeches care home Nottingham, which provides residential and nursing care, Residents have been enjoying different activities.
It was a busy week at the Beeches, it began with celebrating Joyce’s 95 birthday! Joyce is a Resident at the home and enjoyed a visit from her daughter who took her out for a walk. Then later in the afternoon, the Residents all came together to celebrate with Joyce and wish her Happy Birthday. The celebrates began with a game of bingo followed by a lovely singalong then the most important part – some birthday cake! Joyce and the other Residents spent the late afternoon watching movies together.
Beeches also had a very special visitor this week, from the lovely Molly, a beautiful dark coloured Cavachon dog. Residents were ecstatic to have the fluffy Molly coming over to see them and sitting on their lap. She came in some time ago but only was a week old at that point, so it was a joyous occasion to see how she had grown. Molly very much revelled in all of the attention she received from Residents.
Dennis, a new Resident at the Beeches has made a start on getting the garden ready for the coming summer. He has been doing some general weeding and putting up some fake flowers on the fencing to make it more colourful.
Sade, the Wellbeing Coordinator went on to say, “Its been a busy week here at the beeches, tis so good to see the Residents involved and happy”.
