Residents at HC-One’s White Gables care home in Skellingthorpe have enjoyed a fun-filled week of activities.
Crufts sparked White Gables invited visitors to bring their four legged friends along to meet the Residents. Charlie and Nina spent an afternoon enjoying lots of cuddles and strokes at the home, their visit brought smiles to everyone’s faces and the Residents said they hope they come back to visit again very soon.
Staff transformed the lounge into a cinema room for Residents to watch ‘Fly Away Home’. To give it a real cinema feel Residents were given a bag of sweets for the show.
A move-it-mobility session with Charlie was next on the agenda. Residents enjoyed some good and fun exercise using a parachute to play games with a football. Everyone commented that it was a great session and a nice end to an action packed week.
