Acacia Lodge creates beautiful winter gardenHC-One’s Acacia Lodge care home in Irthlingborough has created a special winter garden for all to enjoy.

Kindness is contagious at Acacia Lodge and a real team effort was made by all to assemble their new winter garden.

The homes gardening group potted plants to go alongside the lovely plants donated by a Residents son. The maintenance man provided a wood board which was decorated by the craft group to create a sign for the garden.

Everyone has given a helping hand to keep up with the weeding and upkeep of their new garden.

All of the Residents and visitors have commented on how beautiful the garden looks. Olive, a Resident at Acacia Lodge said it’s even better in the evening when the solar lights come on.

Acacia Lodge’s winter garden is now seeing its first signs of spring, with wildlife exploring the grounds and making the most of the bird feeders.
