Today at
Abermill care home, in Abertridwr, Residents on both communities have been enjoying the sunshine.
The home was very lucky to receive some beautiful donations of plants from the local Morrisons, Asda and B&Q.
Residents David and Gerald enjoyed helping plant some seeds in pots along with Wellbeing Coordinator, Debbie, and Manager, Christine.
Also, Gerald helped Julie from maintenance decide where the flowers should go.
Other Residents including Nancy and Gill, enjoyed being outside in the garden playing some board games and reminiscing about their own gardens and greenhouses. One said, “What a lovely day and having the sun out. I can’t wait to see the flowers grow!”
Christine added, “It is nice to see the sun and everyone having some fun!”
