Residents at
Aberford Hall, nursing care home, in Aberford, Leeds had lots of fun celebrating the Kings Coronation over the bank holiday weekend!
To kick off the celebration, Residents got their creative hats on to make their very own crowns.
The Residents used lots of different jewels and decorations to make the crowns personal to them.
There was lots of smiling, laughing and fun whilst making the crowns. The Residents loved how each of the crowns sparkled and gleamed.
To celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, a party was held at the care home. Both Residents and Colleagues joined together for a royal knees-up.
There was a lovely buffet made by the fantastic kitchen team along with a Coronation punch which went down a treat.
Everyone enjoyed chatting amongst each other, singing and talking about the royal family and pervious coronations.
Fred one of the Residents, said, “A toast to the King on his Coronation day!”
Michelle Stables, Care Home Manager, added, “All the Resident have had a lovely time celebrating the Coronation.”
