The poems and posters were created for Residents to try cheer them up and to hope that they stay safe through this tough time.

Douglas a Resident from Hamewith Lodge was asked to read out the poems in front of his fellow Residents and staff, which they all really enjoyed with one Residents saying, “such nice poems and a lovely letter!”

Hamewith Lodge Home Manager Susan Ashton said, “That was a really nice thing for the children to do, it really cheered up the Residents.”
