Residents from HC-One’s Eastbourne House Care Home in Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear enjoyed a little time away from the home, visiting Quayside at Newcastle.
Connie Hamersley, Celia Blair, Barbara Ferres, Len and Norma Watkinson all had a great day chatting about the historic sights and taking in all of the great scenery.
The sun came out for the occasion, which meant that everyone was able to walk down the riverside and enjoy the beautiful views.
Len commented:
“Not being from the area, it was great to visit and hear all of the history.”
