It was a week of celebration at White Gables as the Royal Wedding took over the Care Home. The Residents and care team got together and made a congratulatory banner for Meghan and Harry which they mounted and made into a card to send to the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
On the big day, the home was decorated with bunting, banners and flags and everyone gathered in the lounge to watch the beautiful ceremony.
Residents let off confetti canons when the happy couple were announced as husband and wife and lunch was served in front of the television so no one missed a moment!
Residents loved watching the big day unfold and especially loved the musical performances and seeing everyone’s outfits!
