Wellbeing Coordinators from White Gables Care Home, Katherine Trevor and Katie Mand, and Residents Norman Baker and Elizabeth Cownie enjoyed a walk in the winter sun to a local Ice cream parlor and coffee shop.
The wind was bracing but the sun was shining down and it certainly blew away a few cobwebs!
They saw a beautiful bird of prey circling the field next to the home and watched as a little robin managed to keep out of it's sight.
Everyone had a warming cup of coffee and cake inside the recently refurbished cafe which both the Residents particularly enjoyed.
They then took a walk to look at the bunny rabbits and friendly goats on the working farm attached to the cafe, had some fun practicing their "selfie" skills, before returning to the home for a well earned rest!
