Today Colleagues at HC-One’s
the Beeches care home, in Dukinfield, took two ladies out to the local supermarket.
Christine and Joan enjoyed shopping at Morrisons, to buy supplies for the home’s award ceremony on Friday. (The Beeches have been nominated for two awards by local professionals!)
While the team were out, they enjoyed a coffee and cake in the café.
Christine said, “It’s been lovely to come out and helping with shopping made life feel normal again.”
Sade, the home’s Wellbeing Coordinator, remarked, “It’s been so nice to take the Residents shopping today and let them choose drink and treats for the award ceremony. Without the Residents we wouldn’t have been nominated for these awards.”
