A romantic trip out for husband and wife
Resident Beryl Smith currently resides at Swallownest Care Home and her husband Ron visits her every day.
The home thought they might like a little couple time and so Dawn the Wellbeing Coordinator escorted them to Rother valley country Park on the mini bus.

The couple were able to spend some quality time together and enjoyed seeing the lake with all the ducks and geese. The weather stayed warm which made the day even better.

The happy couple commented:

"It was lovely to be out as husband and wife together , thank you for talking us on the mini bus. We are so happy, it is just like when we lived together, we love each other so much."

Swallownest home manager Tracey Marsden commented:

"It was lovely to see the smile on Beryl’s face , it makes our jobs so worthwhile!"
