Residents, Relatives and Colleagues, at
Branston Court, nursing and dementia care home in Burton-on-Trent, spent an evening remembering those who passed away in 2022.
On the 20th of December, an evening of remembrance took place at the 45-bedded care home to pay tribute to those who sadly passed away this year.
A formal invitation was sent out to Relatives, Residents and Colleagues to attend the event.
Everyone got together to sing Christmas carols, listen to Christmas readings and remember their loved ones.
There were refreshments for all to enjoy including mince pies, sherry, tea and coffee.
A minute’s silence was held at the end of the evening to remember those who had passed away and their family members were gifted a special candle.
P. Hackett, a Resident, said, “It was an incredible and memorable evening.”
Pauline Gardiner, Care Home Manager, added, “Each year we improve and learn from the previous. Such a truly, perfect night.”
