A letter from Sir Alex Ferguson for ResidentResident of Worsley Lodge and lifelong Manchester United fan Christine Edwards was thrilled to receive a letter from Sir Alex Ferguson after her friends wrote to him on her behalf. Christine is a season ticket holder but has not been able to attend many games due to illness.

In a small extract from the letter, Sir Alex wrote:

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your dedication to Manchester United over the years and to myself personally while I was manager at the club. Supporters like yourself are crucial to the team’s performance and you were definitely one of the best!
