A happy Halloween from Ashbourne LodgeStaff and Residents at Ashbourne Lodge, residential and residential memory care home, in Sunderland have been busy throwing a Halloween party.

All Staff and Residents have been in the Halloween spirit so it was decided they would throw a Halloween party. Staff and Residents got dressed up for the occasion. Everyone got involved and had some fun.

The Residents played lots of different games, whilst the staff joined in, with forfeits for the losers. Forfeits included, pretending to be a frog and running around like a chicken!

Everyone had a great time; it was just the type of fun they all needed to get into the Halloween spirits. All the Residents were so happy to see everyone having fun!

A huge thank you goes to Jamie, Ashbourne Lodge’s Wellbeing Coordinator.

Resident, Mary Heenan stated, “It was lovely to see everyone laughing and having fun, just what everyone needed.”

Resident, George said, “I had a great time, and it has been a long time since I have been to a good party.”

Care Home Manager, Punam Randhawa commented, “The party went great, and all the staff and Residents had a great time, it was a massive moral boost.”
