A Diamond Wedding Anniversary for Four Seasons Resident
Madge Ratcliffe, a Resident at HC-One’s Four Seasons Care Home in Bolton, and her husband Jack recently celebrated their Diamond wedding anniversary with a special celebration at the home.

Madge has been a Resident at the home for several years. The couple met in 1951 when Jack was working at Tilltosons Newspaper (which was known as Bolton Evening News) and Madge was working as a printer and bookbinder. The couple did not date until later on when their love of dance united them at a local dance school.

Jack and Madge were engaged before Jack joined the Cold Stream Guards to do National Service and it has been a love story ever since!

Jack and Madge received an abundance of cards and flowers from relative’s friends and staff. They enjoyed a beautiful cake along with some special entertainment and a toast to their marriage.

HC-One is also celebrating achieving a 9.4 average rating on the sector’s leading care home comparison website carehome.co.uk. The high rating puts HC-One homes into the very best company in the care home sector, committed to providing kind care to Residents.

Wellbeing Coordinator Angela commented:

“Jack and Madge are a lovely couple and it’s a pleasure to spend time in their company. It was a privilege to be a part of their special day!”

HC-One Regional Managing Director, Liz Whyte said:
