On 7th May Colleagues and Residents at HC-One’s
Ashgrove care home in Dudley bid farewell to Julie Jones, the Home Manager and on 10th May they welcomed Raynor, the home's new Manager.
Julie Jones was Manager at the home for two years, overseeing the coronavirus pandemic and many changes, Julie has worked really hard to make sure Residents felt looked after.
When spirits were low in the home, Julie would buy KFC, Dominos, biscuits and more to make sure the staff were treated and that their hard work was recognised.
As a leaving present, staff bought Julie a piece of land which comes with the title of Lady of the Manor, so on her last day, everyone wore tiaras and paper crowns to tease Julie about her new title.
On the 10th May, Raynor Stock-Lynch, who has been at the home for a while, started her new position as Home Manager. As was the case with Julie, Raynor has been a rock through one of the hardest times for everyone and everyone at the home looks forward to working with her and being under her care.
Everyone at the home wishes Raynor the best of luck in her new role and she has already really hit the floor running.
In the popular area of Netherton, on the outskirts of Dudley, Ashgrove is a purpose-built care home with 57 beds, offering nursing and residential dementia care.
