A busy week at Sandon HouseSandon House have been enjoying a varied activity program and have had a fantastic week in the lead up to Easter!

Residents and family members from Sandon House enjoyed a wonderful performance from The Grand Dame Theatre. The performance of the day was the much-loved classic, Cinderella.

Residents had a wonderful time and told the care team how much they enjoyed the performance.

Performers from the area regularly visit the home and entertain Residents with songs, sketches, singing and dancing.

Residents also enjoyed a performance from entertainer Ian Jenkins who performed a variety of songs from the 50’s and 60’s. Everyone had a good giggle and a sing-a-long!

One Resident commented,

“What a fantastic afternoon! I really look forward to Ian visiting each month.”

It wasn’t all partying though as some Residents took a trip to the local Methodist Church for a special Easter service. They enjoyed the service very much and enjoy being out and about in the community.

Finally, in the run up to Easter, Resident Anna got crafty and created some beautiful Easter Cards to sell. The home sells occasion cards to raise money towards the Residents comfort fund. Well done Anna!
