Residents at the Beeches care home in Tameside have joined together to wish Resident Catherine a very happy 99th birthday.
Catherine was joined by her loved ones for her birthday celebrations, as she spent time with her son, daughters, grandchildren and two great grandchildren, who visit the home regularly.
Catherine enjoyed the celebrations, where she enjoyed eating her 99th birthday cake and singing along to Christmas songs with friends and family.
When asked what her secret to reaching the grand age of 99 is, Catherine declared it is down to the fact she has never touched a drop of alcohol.
Catherine said: “Thank you to my friends, family and staff at the Beeches for helping me celebrate a very special birthday.”
Louise Clifford, Home Manager at the Beeches, said: “It was lovely to see Catherine celebrating her big day with her nearest and dearest. It was a special day for everyone.”
