Mary Brown, a Resident at HC-One’s Meadow Bank House care home in Great Lever, Bolton celebrated her 90th birthday on Monday 7th December.
To celebrate her special day Mary’s room was decorated with beautiful birthday balloons and banners. Each member of the team at Meadow Bank House wrote down one thing that they like about Mary and placed their thoughts in a box.
Throughout the day a note was taken from the box and read to Mary, hearing all of lovely things people had to say about her made Mary feel very special. Mary enjoyed spending her day sharing stories and having a slice, or two, of her birthday cake.
Meadow Bank House Home Manager, Kelly Champkin, said: “On behalf of everyone at Meadow Bank House I would like to wish Mary a very happy 90th birthday, we are so pleased that she had a lovely day celebrating with us.”
