90th birthday bash for Wiltshire care home ResidentAt the Westbury residential and nursing care home, one very special Resident celebrated his 90th birthday today among family and fellow Residents.

Colleagues decorated the lounge and all the Residents joined to celebrate, play games and sing. Then the birthday man, Gordon, who was turning 90, went into the garden to join his family where he had champagne and a buffet with them.

The Residents enjoyed wine, Baileys, sherry, tea, coffee and a lovely buffet. Everyone enjoyed the singing too.

Gordon said, “Thank you for the effort everyone put in to making my birthday special.”

Jacqui Evans, Activities Coordinator, commented, “Gordon is very quiet lovely gentleman, who didn't want any fuss but enjoyed the time he spent on his birthday. It was lovely to see him in the garden with his family.”
