Birthday celebrations were underway at HC-One’s Glanffrwd care home in Pencoed, Bridgend as Shirley turned 81 years old.
Family, friends and fellow Residents joined Shirley for the celebrations, as she opened cards and gifts given to her for her special day.
Attendees also enjoyed a delicious birthday buffet, which included a handmade cake, beautiful pink cupcakes and a selection of sweet and savoury treats.
Shirley was smiling from ear to ear as she enjoyed the party surrounded by her nearest and dearest. She said: “It’s been wonderful.”
Shirley’s sons commented: “We cannot thank the home enough for helping all the family celebrate this wonderful day.”
