Celebrations were in full swing at Stoneyford care home in Sutton-in-Ashfield as volunteer Flo Cudworth marked her 80th birthday at the home.
Flo’s special day doubled up with Volunteer’s Week celebrations at Stoneyford, where Flo is a much-loved volunteer.
A former staff member at Stoneyford, Flo now helps out several days a week at the home, where she is known for her positive spirit. Whether she is starting a sing-along, getting everyone up and dancing or helping out at the home’s fayres, Flo is a valued member of the team.
Having only recently celebrated two 80th birthdays at the home the previous week, Resident Ron was overjoyed to welcome Flo to the 80 club.
Keeley Morris, Home Manager at Stoneyford, said: “Volunteers are treasured members of the team at HC-One, so it was wonderful to be able to celebrate Flo’s very special day with the extra addition of recognising Volunteer’s Week at the home.”
