HC-One’s Magna care home in Wigston organised a special 1950’s themed party for Residents, Relatives and members of the team to enjoy.
Kerry Jean, a local 1950’s singer provided the entertainment, singing songs from the era which got Residents joining in, those who couldn’t get up to dance waved their hands and tapped their feet throughout.
Delicious baked goods and refreshments were on offer and a raffle was organised to raise money for the Residents comfort fund. A great day was had by all with Residents commenting that it was a lovely day and some compared Kerry Jean to the beautiful Vera Lynn.
