HC-One’s Waterside care home in Tipton decided to make this Christmas all about celebrating their local community and came up with their very own ’12 Acts of Christmas’.
Every visitor to Waterside throughout the festive season will receive their very own Christmas card, they will pull a cracker with a Resident, get a delicious homemade cookie and help decorate the Christmas tree.
Relatives received a festive photograph of their loved one, Residents enjoyed dressing up for their festive photoshoot. The home has also opened its doors to three local fireman for Christmas dinner, who have kindly agreed to wash up the dishes after their meal.
Residents commented that it was lovely to meet lots of new people and they loved having their photograph taken for their friends and family.
