A Resident at Seabrooke Manor care home, in Essex, celebrated her 100th birthday today.
Sally has lived at Seabrooke Manor for more than five years and is very sociable, enjoys talking about her family and her life and career as a dressmaker.
Sally cerebrated her centenary with family via a video call, fellow Residents and colleagues. It was a very lively day for Colleagues and residents alike, especially with the renditions of wishing her ‘Happy Birthday’.
Residents were all smiling and joined in with the event. There were many positive comments in that they, “Had a good time.”
One of the care Colleagues said, “I had good feedback from Sally, she said it was a nice birthday and that she did enjoy it.”
Home Manager, Gladys Chibanda, remarked, “Our Residents interacted very actively and sang along. It was brilliant”
