Celebrations were underway at Aberford Hall care home in Roundhay, Leeds as loved ones joined Marjorie for her 100th birthday party.
Marjorie, who has lived at HC-One’s Aberford Hall since January 2018, was delighted with the efforts that staff went to in celebration of her special day. The party began with Marjorie receiving her card from the Queen, which she was very excited to open.
Family and friends joined Marjorie for her special party, which included a marvellous buffet and entertainment from local performer Stuart, who sang a number of classic hits.
Local MP, Fabian Hamilton, also arrived at the party to wish Marjorie a very happy birthday.
Kathryn Oddy, Home Manager at Aberford Hall, said: “It’s been such a lovely day celebrating Marjorie’s 100th birthday surrounded by her nearest and dearest.”
