Trafalgar Park care home in Caerphilly was delighted to help Resident Doreen to celebrate her 100th birthday in style.
The celebrations started with Doreen enjoying mass and receiving papal blessings from Father John Kelly, followed by her receiving her special birthday card from the Queen.
Doreen was joined by her son Anthony and granddaughter Delyth, where they enjoyed making special memories together at the birthday party.
Everyone enjoyed singing and dancing along to vocalist, Craig Balien, along with a delicious buffet prepared by the home.
Doreen commented: “This is wonderful.”
Leah Mort, Home Manager at Trafalgar Park, said: “The whole team at Trafalgar Park was delighted to celebrate Doreen’s 100th birthday with her family and fellow Residents. She is such a lovely and inspirational lady and this special birthday party was the least we could do!”
