A very special Resident at Warren’s Hall care home, in Tividale, received an even better party today. Jessie celebrated her 86th birthday party by being welcomed into the lounge that had been decorated by staff.
A ‘Birthday Bay’ had been created for Jessie to sit in and she was also given a beautiful birthday cake as well as other treats for the Residents and staff. An open bar was set up which offered a selection of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks.
Staff entertained all of the Residents by singing and dancing with instruments.
To top the day off there was a lovely surprise window visit from Relatives of Jessie's, who were chatting and waving through the window.
Jessie commented, “This is the best birthday I've ever had. It’s been so special and seeing my family have really made my day!”
Home Manager, Kalmit Jagpal, said, “I hope I get to celebrate my birthday with a party like this, it’s been a lovely morning.”
