Lisa Morehead, Regional Director at HC-One, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Care Operations/Area Manager Award’ Category at the well-esteemed National Care Awards 2022 and in ‘The Outstanding Contribution to Social Care Award Category’ at the North East Region of the Great British Care Awards 2022.
Lisa has been shortlisted as a finalist at these awards as she has demonstrated exceptional vision, leadership and has been at the forefront of new management techniques. Lisa has made a long-term outstanding contribution to social care. Lisa inspires her Colleagues to provide exceptional care throughout the 57 homes in the North East region of which she is responsible for.
Lisa is accountable for ensuring high quality standards are held throughout her care homes. Lisa does this through developing and maintaining positive relationships with Home Managers, Local Authorities, CQC and other key stakeholders. She has established and leads her homes by promoting a culture of collaboration and empowerment, helping to support each other to achieve the best results possible. She ensures each home in the region she looks after has a vision and plan in place to promote the companies’ goals, ethos, and objectives.

The National Care Awards 2022 marks 24 years of celebrating the very best people working in the care sector and those who go above and beyond to provide consistent exceptional care. The National Care Awards ceremony will be taking place on Saturday 26th November 2022 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, when the winners will be announced.
The North East Regional Great British Care Awards will be taking place on Thursday 10th November 2022 at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park in Newcastle. The awards pay tribute to those who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work. The winners of the regional awards will progress to the National Great British Care Award finals taking place on Friday 17th March 2023 at the ICC in Birmingham.

Lisa is one of seven HC-One finalists that have been successful in being shortlisted at the National Care Awards 2022 and one of twenty HC-One finalists at the North East region of the Great British Care Awards 2022 across a variety of award categories.
