It is HC-One policy to encourage Colleagues to recommend new Colleagues to the Company. Colleagues who make a personal introduction of a new Colleague may therefore be entitled to receive a monetary reward. 
 
This procedure does not form part of your terms and conditions of employment and can be changed by the company at any time. Please see the HC-One intranet HR area for updated policies and procedures.
 
Definitions 
 
a) Existing Colleague: the Colleague who introduced the new Colleague to the Company. 
b) New Colleague: the Colleague who is introduced to the Company by the existing Colleague. 

 
Compliance with this procedure will be monitored by internal quality assurance processes and audits. Any issues relating to non-compliance with this procedure will be taken seriously. 
 
 
How much is the reward? 

For an introduction into:

a) home-based care and support roles: £250 (Paid in two instalments of £125)
b) home-based clinical or Home Manager roles: £1000 (Paid in two instalments of £500)
c) Support Office/Regional roles*: £250 (Paid in two instalments of £125)
*Some senior roles may attract a higher reward, which will be confirmed at time of referral

The reward will be subject to PAYE deductions (i.e. income tax and NI contributions). 
 
From time to time, there will be special promotions – this may be an increase in payments, changes to length of time a person must be in post and for different types of roles. 
 
The payment amounts quoted above relate to any introductions made after 20 December 2021.
 

Any introductions made before this time will be paid in line with the previous procedures.
