HC One’s Magna care home managed to put together a fun afternoon of socially distanced basketball for the Residents.
Colleagues at the Wigston care home are always thinking of activities that Residents can enjoy, and today socially distanced basketball was introduced.
Residents Edna, Betty, Andrea and Sylvia were all very determined to get the ball into the net!
Edna said “this game is new to me and I have thoroughly enjoyed it” and Sylvia commented “this game was good exercise, especially for my arms.”
It was a delight to see the reactions on their faces, the staff all cheered each time a Resident got the ball through the net, a lot of fun was had by everyone.
