Bridget Goodman, who is a Resident at Harnham Croft care home in Salisbury, had been very much looking forward to attending her grandson’s wedding when the world was turned upside down by Covid-19.
With so many limitations and restrictions in place she was sure that she would miss out on attending this special family event, however with recent changes to government directives and the help and support of family and Colleagues at Harnham Croft care home, they made it happen!
With planning and robust risk assessments, Colleagues at the home have been able to make Bridget's wishes come true and she has been able to attend
Bridget was over the moon and commented, “What a wonderful thing to be able to walk my Grandson down the aisle, I never thought this would be able to happen. The staff have helped so much to support me to attend this event during these difficult times, they are all super!”
Home Manager, Jim Bowie, remarked, “It is great to be able to support Bridget to safely attend an event that means the world to her.”
